Full day guiding

£185per day
  • 9.00am–4.30pm (flexible), one-to-one tuition (preferred). £200 for 2 people (max).
  • A guided day can be tailored to your individual requirements.
Day permit costs are extra, usually £25–£30 per angler. A £50 deposit is required, with the remaining balance settled in cash on the day. Fly-casting instruction can form part of the day. All tackle can also be provided, including chest waders.

Half day guiding

£125per half day
  • Up to 4-hours – 2 people max.
  • A convenient ‘taster’ session (Swansea area only).

Fly-casting tuition

£35per hr
  • Hourly rate – one-to-one service.
  • Professional casting tuition tailored to your individual requirements.

Beginners – I recommend an initial 2-hour session. Experienced – we can focus on specific casts to recognise and correct any faults. Tuition can take place over grass (a local park or playing field), or water.

Group bookings
Given notice, group bookings for up to 4 people can be considered on the larger river beats. With an additional fee, I will arrange for another guide to join us on the day, with the group being split to fish different waters (usually swapping over after lunch). Larger groups are possible on small stillwaters, where the venue can be block booked for the day following pre-agreement with the fishery owner.
